The duration of PENGASIH’s treatment program varies on a case-to-case basis depending on the severity of the clients’ conditions upon admission. The treatment begins with a minimum length of 28 days with the recommended optimum length of 6 months.

biological component

Pharmacotherapy: Provide medical treatment based on doctors diagnosis, which include; mental-health and comorbidity issues such as, drug induced psychosis, bi-polar, schizophrenia, paranoia, depression, anhedonia, etc.

Integrated Healthcare: provide nutrition intervention, exercises, recreational activities, sufficient rest, etc.

Psychological Component

Positive Support Group: Practice positive peer to peer motivation, model positive behaviour, supportive and conducive social environment.

Emotional Intelligent: Healthy ways to deal their emotions which include anger, compulsive, fear, shame, guilt management.

Intellectual Stimulation: Didactic learning, capacity building to enhance recovery capital eg: relapse prevention, seminar, group discussion, brainstorming etc.

Sex, Gender, and Sexuality Group: Encourage healthy, respectful, non-judgmental issues.

Women’s Group: Deal with specialised needs, in regard to leveraging female issues.

Conflict Resolution Group: Avenue for expression and interpersonal conflict resolution.

Counselling Session: Deal with unresolved deep seated and traumatic issues.

In House Narcotics Anonymous (N.A.): Encourage the practice of 12 steps N.A practices.
